Wir sind gespannt darauf, mehr \u00fcber deine k\u00fcnstlerische Praxis, deine Inspirationen und die faszinierende Forschung hinter deinem Werk zu erfahren.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Bist du mit Gelsenkirchen und den GOLDST\u00dcCKEN vertraut? Was hat dich motiviert, dich f\u00fcr den Open Call zu bewerben?<\/p>\n<p>Im Dezember 2023 habe ich an einem Videomapping-Workshop an meiner Universit\u00e4t teilgenommen. Die Arbeit in einem harmonischen und freundlichen Team hat mir gro\u00dfen Spa\u00df gemacht, was in mir das starke Interesse geweckt hat, auch in den kommenden Semestern an Videomapping-Projekten weiterzuarbeiten.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Wie w\u00fcrdest du deine k\u00fcnstlerische Praxis beschreiben?<\/p>\n<p>Die Erstellung der Collage war komplexer und zeitaufw\u00e4ndiger, als ich erwartet hatte. Ich wollte so viele Bilder von Banknoten aus aller Welt wie m\u00f6glich einbeziehen, aber aufgrund der Vielzahl an W\u00e4hrungen war das nicht umsetzbar. Deshalb habe ich mich mehr auf politische Motive und weniger gesehene Bilder auf den Banknoten konzentriert.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Welche Aspekte waren dir bei der Entstehung deines Kunstwerks besonders wichtig? Welcher Kerngedanke hat dich zu deinem jetzigen Werk inspiriert, und welche Botschaft m\u00f6chtest du damit vermitteln?<\/p>\n<p>Die Botschaft, die ich vermitteln m\u00f6chte, ist, dass eine W\u00e4hrungsabwertung, die oft durch interne oder externe Faktoren wie korrupte Regierungen und Sanktionen verursacht wird, die Kaufkraft und damit die Lebensqualit\u00e4t erheblich beeintr\u00e4chtigen kann. Diese Abwertung ver\u00e4ndert die Wahrnehmung von Wert und Bedeutung sowohl im Inland als auch international. Neben Tod, Armut und Elend k\u00f6nnen solche wirtschaftlichen Schwierigkeiten auch Stereotypen f\u00f6rdern, zu sozialer Ausgrenzung f\u00fchren und das Selbstwertgef\u00fchl weiter untergraben, insbesondere in einer \u00c4ra der Globalisierung und Digitalisierung, in der fast jeder mit der Welt vernetzt ist. Durch meine Arbeit m\u00f6chte ich auf diese Ungleichheiten aufmerksam machen und die weitreichenden Auswirkungen wirtschaftlicher und politischer Probleme auf das t\u00e4gliche Leben und die Selbstwahrnehmung der Menschen erforschen.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 In deiner Arbeit besch\u00e4ftigst du dich intensiv mit dem Thema W\u00e4hrung und ihrer Entwicklung. Gab es w\u00e4hrend deiner Recherche Erkenntnisse oder \u00dcberraschungen, die dich besonders beeindruckt oder deine bisherigen Annahmen herausgefordert haben?<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend meiner Recherche war ich \u00fcberrascht, herauszufinden, dass es w\u00e4hrend des Ersten Weltkriegs eine Vereinbarung zwischen dem Iran und Deutschland gab, eine gemeinsame W\u00e4hrung zu schaffen, um ihre wirtschaftliche Beziehung zu st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n<p>Ich fand es besonders interessant, dass auf der Vorderseite von Banknoten oft das Bild einer wichtigen Person des jeweiligen Landes abgebildet ist, w\u00e4hrend die R\u00fcckseite kulturelle Rituale, regionale und symbolische Tiere, wissenschaftliche Errungenschaften und historische Geb\u00e4ude zeigt, die den nationalen Stolz repr\u00e4sentieren. Diese Verbindung zwischen Identit\u00e4t, Kultur und Wirtschaft fand ich faszinierend.<\/p>\n<p>Eine Frage, die mich besonders besch\u00e4ftigt, ist: was wird passieren, wenn digitale W\u00e4hrungen weltweit vollst\u00e4ndig eingef\u00fchrt werden und physisches Geld verschwindet.
